The past 3 weeks :)

Our internet provider sucks. We've been here in Pyrmont for almost 3 weeks now and they haven't set up our internet yet! So Kuya Eric and I have been getting wireless signals from our neighbors (signal pirates!) and we keep coming up with theories where the signal comes from... first it was some guy above Kuya Eric's room, then he said it was some person under my room because my signal was stronger... then we decided it was from the internet place below us... wow we've been discussing some of the most porfound things in life. hehe

Now that we're here in our own apartment... I miss Auburn! Well not Auburn per se... I miss Uncle Anky and Tita Nidia :P

We moved out the week after my sister's birthday... It was sooo crazy! We had to assemble furniture, move it around... Super thank you to Carlo, Brights, Paul and Bryn, Uncle Anky, Tita Nidia for helping out. I made so many booboos that week! heheh actually we all had funny moments! I posted pictures on my multiply.

1) Over chat:
me: Hi carl! Super favor! Can you help us move our things to Pyrmont?
Carlo: Yeah no problem... but greet me first!

IT WAS HIS BIRTHDAY! gawd. Some friend! We ate kangaroo the next night... and it was really icky. I didn't like it the first time i tried it in 2002. Now I can say i really don't like it.

2) Eric spent the whole day working on a tall boy... heehee he ended up putting the drawer rollers upside down! like one was below the other one was on top! It took him 2 days to finish one piece of furniture... with the help of Bryn and Paul.


3) We have a tilted bookcase thanks to Bryn... who's brothers are carpenters apart from other things. hahaha

While he was nailing the back part:

me: you hammer pretty well
Bryn: Thanks, my brothers are carpenters
(then he frigging puts a nail through the wrong hole)
me: HEY! I thought your brothers were carpenters!
Bryn: I said they were! I didn't say I was!

Nice one. I'm so scared it'll topple over one day.

4) Ate Anna while assembling her bed slats one by one... "Oh no! I'm going to get stuck"

There were more but I really can't remember! Needless to say, after those two crazy days of lifting, setting up and cleaning up and God knows what else.... My sister and I had so many bruises! I felt like I competed in sparring. Oh I forgot why we we're moving in like crazy... my parents flew over and wanted to spend their trip in the new apartment. We literally had just Monday-Thursday to shop for furniture, appliances, beddings, kitchen stuff... and assemble everything. Tita Nidia, Uncle Anky and Ate A really worked their magic.


Come Thursday, with everything fixed... I went out to watch GRANDMASTER FLASH with Brightly and Paul. :D Apparently, I harrassed Paul (sorry). It was such a fun fun fun night. I just wish it wasn't all a blur. We ended up walking in the rain, I was drenched and my shoes were all squeaky but we had a great time.

The next week, I spent it with Mommy and Papa. Mom had to fly to NY to be with Auntie Jolly. I miss you both come back soon ;) I woke up crying one morning coz I dreamt of Ins and I was worried about my papa. Anyway, in my dream she was hugging me and telling me everything will be ok. Then my papa walks in and hugs me and tells me he'll be alright. He cuddled me in bed until I stopped crying and that same day the doctors said he's ok :D hooray for miracles.

I really miss Ins and my girls...

Anyway, Brights took me to a ballet (thanks babe) and we went to Art House after. We went to Mackers (Mcdo! they pronounce it as mackahs -whatever to you you are da one-- to-mah-to sauce please)... Anyway, I think that Mackers meal officialized our sisterhood *hug*... If you can argue like that with a besty and be meh and totally ok after then you're blood. Then we played TIPAYAHTUNG at the apartment... omg... Baa baa is GOLD. This game is so fun to play. You just have to finish a line from a movie, a quote, a nursery rhyme or a song. And poor Baa Baa Blue eyes didn't know his nursery rhymes!

Brightly: Baa Baa black sheep...
Baabaa: Had a little lamb?

Me: Mary had a little lamb... (it should be whose fleece is white as snow)
Baabaa: Little lamb little lamb?

Brights: Hickory dickory dock
Baabaa: The cat ran up... (wtf)

Me: Jack be nimble jack be quick
Baabaa: Jack fell over a firestick

hahahahahah.. I have a list upstairs... Gotta go find it so i can post it here.

After one of those nights out and watching my best friend's wedding... I woke up... about to talk to inanimate objects and I really really missed LN! waaah. come here! :(

The other day Brights and I were supposed to watch a play... and she was wearing prissy shoes... that were super slippery! She fully slipped several times... first it was a tiny slip... then she took two steps and she disappeared! She landed on her knee and hand i think. I was too worried to laugh that time! But now... AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHahahahah!

I had to hold her by her armpits and she complained " You're treating me like a Nanna!" and boom! She slipped again... "HOLD MEEE" hahahahhaha! Poor babe has a bruise on her knee the shape of Australia.

Last Saturday we went to watch this random band at Star City... it reminbded me so much of Capone's and Ebisu (sorry la) nights where we'd dance and sing our hearts out... I sooo needed that after more than two months of not hearing a live band play alternative and 80's rock... I'll be there for youuuuu! Hey jealousyyyyy... We knew all the songs! hahaha and apparently, so did two oldish jersey girls with their big hair! hahaha i have a picture with them at my multiply.
It's been a mad three weeks.

I'm starting work on Monday--- yay!
