Missing Ina
I met the younger sister of a friend and her barkada of 18-19 year olds. They were dancing away in a bar where people don't usually dance, doing all their moves together, laughing, hugging and drinking and not caring about other people. If you stare at their faces long enough, you would catch a certain carefree and invincible look that we all used to have when we were younger... like nothing could go wrong, like nothing and no one could hurt us or tear us apart, like problems could easily be solved with just voting sessions with the girls.
Those girls with matching outfits reminded me so much of the barkada-- ginny, lala, nikki, ina, krista, manika and me. When we only had to worry about what to wear to the next big gimmick, which guy to go for, the next session test or midterms, nursing hangovers, getting grounded, bad haircuts, if our parents will let us go out...
I'm really missing those days...
especially INA. I love you hun.
